PATA complies with the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter – the Regulation), as well as other requirements of the regulatory enactments in force in Latvia, when processing personal data.
This privacy policy explains how PATA handles a natural person’s data, data subject rights, and personal data protection issues. The PATA Privacy policy applies to the processing of all personal data that it carries out.
PATA may use your provided personal data for the following purposes:
Personal data is only collected and processed for the purposes defined above and only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes above, to protect the interests of PATA, or in accordance with the applicable limitation period. After the data use expiration date, they are deleted or archived.
Personal data is restricted-access information that can only be accessed by authorised staff when access to these data is required for the execution of work orders. All employees who have been authorised to work with natural persons’ data are properly trained to be able to protect the rights of the data subject.
Personal data can only be disclosed to third parties to achieve goals set by this policy, according to the provisions of a data subject’s concluded agreement or according to the Regulation and other effective regulatory enactments. According to the abovementioned, personal data may be disclosed to be processed within PATA group companies; state institutions, to follow through on the regulatory enactment requirements; outsourcing providers, who have undertaken to ensure adherence to the Regulation’s and regulatory enactment requirements
Access to personal data and other rights of the data subject
In order to obtain information about personal data processed by PATA on the data subject, the data subject must submit an application:
The data subject has the right to request the restriction of personal data processing, object to the processing of personal data, and request the deletion or correction of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation.
PATA communicates with the data subject using the contact details provided by the data subject (telephone number, email address, address).
If the data subject believes his/her right to the protection of his/her personal data has been infringed, the data subject is entitled to lodge a complaint with the personal data supervising authority.
If the processing of personal data has been initiated in accordance with the data subject’s consent, the data subject has the right to withdraw that consent by personally submitting an application in writing to the PATA office at 14 Cēsu iela, Riga, LV-1012, also providing a personal identification document, or by sending the application signed with a secure electronic signature by e-mail to info@pata.lv.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing of data carried out while the consent of the data subject was effective.
Withdrawal of consent cannot terminate the processing of data that is carried out on the basis of other legal grounds.
We may update or modify this Privacy policy at any time without prior notice. Such an updated or amended Privacy policy shall become effective upon its publication on our website www.pata.lv and replace the previous version of the Privacy policy.
